{"id":430,"date":"2020-10-23T09:14:38","date_gmt":"2020-10-23T16:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fastcreditsolutions.net\/credit_repair_blog\/?p=430"},"modified":"2021-03-09T11:29:49","modified_gmt":"2021-03-09T19:29:49","slug":"the-cares-act","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fastcreditsolutions.net\/credit_repair_blog\/the-cares-act\/","title":{"rendered":"The CARES Act"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>CARES Act<\/strong> = Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Programs available to eligible Nevadans under the CARES Act:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>PUA is available through December 26, 2020 to eligible individuals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Self-employed<\/li><li>1099 contract workers<\/li><li>Gig workers<\/li><li>Employees whose wages are not reported for unemployment insurance<\/li><li>Employees who have not earned enough wages or worked enough hours for regular unemployment benefits<\/li><li>Individuals who were going to start work but could not due to COVID-19 pandemic<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/detr.nv.gov\/PUA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">read more<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This program has been implemented effective May 10, 2020. It is payable through December 31, 2020 to eligible claimants whose claims have been exhausted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/detr.nv.gov\/PEUC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">read more<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible individuals received an additional $600 per week in addition to their weekly benefit amount from another unemployment compensation program.
